TEASERS

Whether you're looking for a teaser or banner to share through social media, we offer a variety of options based on your genre and story. We take special care to create a graphic that is uniquely yours.

Banners (Facebook, Twitter, Web Site)
$ 40 for one or $60.00 to have the banner formatted up to three sites/sizes.

Teasers
$ 10.00 for one or $ 45.00 for set of five. This includes up to 3 revisions after the initial design has been decided.

Note:
We require a $25.00 payment up front to create a composite since this is often the most time consuming part. If you decide to use our designs this will be deducted from your final total. This up front payment is non refundable if you decide to either create the teaser/banner yourself, or go with another designer.

To protect the artists on many stock image sites, we do require our clients to purchase the stock images that will be used in a final design. Once you've seen and approved the design you like, we will purchase the stock image.

Teaser Design FAQ

Q) Where do you get the images you use?

Most of the images we use are sourced from several internet sources depending on pricing, variety, and quality. A few of the places we use images from are Dreamstime, iStock, Getty, 123RF, and Flickr depending upon what the author is looking for and their budget.

Q) What if I want a more expensive image used than what is included in a basic cover price?

In this event, we would charge for the additional cost of the image before purchasing it.

Q) Do I have to know what I want or can I leave that to you?

We find that the best designs are those where the author allowed the cover designer creative freedom to do what they do best. Simply complete the form as best as you can, and we'll take care of the rest.

Q) I want a very specific look for a model. Can you find the right image?

Keep in mind that searching for such a specific look can take hours, which is not included in a basic cover design. Also keep in mind that some of those higher-end model images will not fit within certain budgets. If you have a specific look for your character or even a specific model in mind, then we recommend searching for 2-3 model images, and then providing those links on the  form in order to keep your costs down.

Q) Can I pick out any font I want for my teaser/banner?

Yes and no. There are a number of fonts available at no charge or that don't require special licenses. However, there are also many that not only require payment, but require a new license for each book cover. If you want to pick out a font rather than leave that to the designer, be sure you not only have the right to use that font, but that you are aware of any potential licensing issues. If you choose a font that requires us to purchase an additional license, that cost will be added to the book cover.

Q) Do I own the teaser/banner?

You will own the final teaser/banner once full payment is received.

Q) Will my teaser/banner be added to your portfolio of projects?

We do not add all teasers/banners, but the majority of them do end up in our portfolio. However, we do not post or share a graphic design until the we have permission from the author to do so in advance. Any free promotion for an author should be considered advantageous, but we don't want to spoil a big reveal either.
